1960s Black Velour Vintage Pillbox Hat
The most iconic vintage 1960s hat is the pillbox style. This one is black velour with a grosgrain and satin ribbon band and bow, attached netting, and small asymmetrical brim. It’s in excellent condition, labeled “Valerie Modes, Genuine Velour Imported Fur”. Note: Velour is usually made from cotton or polyester, not sure why they call it “fur” here. Measures about 22 inches around the inside. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have, as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned.
